About US

We are a mom and pop duo of the old school variety raising our daughter in Southern  USA. Jim was born in Bogota, Colombia and Elena is from Southern California and our two styles combined to create our passion which is Mexicali Rose, our duo where Elena sings and Jim does everything else!

We were on the gigging grind playing some of the most legendary venues in San Diego when Elena got pregnant and the music got put on a pause… Looking for a way to implement our passion for music as well as our abilities in professional entertainment we decided to start Audiomo, a place where musicians can go to receive the care and love their music deserves that is needed with modern solutions. All the while, Jim is collecting guitars and constantly experimenting with sounds searching for his next muse. When the guitars are done being used for our projects, we like to put them back into market to find their permanent home. In a weird sense, we are kind of a foster home for rare or otherwise unavailable guitars in the United States. Jim takes a lot of pride in his guitar selection, which can be seen by checking what exactly we’ve been through gear wise since we started this next chapter.  

We offer what we would like to call music consulting.  We have over fifteen years between us going into studios, recording to tape, writing, releasing, and distributing albums.  What does that translate to for you?  That completely depends on your needs and your strengths.  We do not have an itemized menu of our services because every project truly is unique, and we believe it is important to evaluate from top to bottom what we can provide to ensure you get the best product you can.
